MILLIONS VIEW HISTORICAL TOUR

The C.F.P.D. took an England cricket team to India to play in the first ever overseas tour for mixed disability cricketers.
The three one-day internationals were played in front of crowds in excess of 3,000 and each match was covered ball by ball by Indian National Television and watched by over two hundred million viewers.
Indian television also covered the demonstrations given before all the matches by cricketers with very severe disabilities.
The matches were played on test match grounds at Delhi, Lucknow and Mumbai, and extensively reviewed by local and National Newspapers.England who generally had a higher level of disability lost the three matches but provided stiff opposition for the Indian side and gained plaudit from the press.
